Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Liquid Soap

I will always have a bottle of Dr. Bronners around!

I am so in love with Dr. Bronner's and hope that my review can do this brand justice. I use Dr. Bronner's castille soap for EVERYTHING....facial wash, body wash, "shampoo", hand wash, laundry, dishes, floors, dog shampoo, etc.... This soap cleans everything. I love Dr. Bronner's so much that I purchased a bottle in every scent. Tea Tree is my favorite due to it's antibacterial properties. Scent wise, the Lavender soap is my favorite. Dr. Bronner's Castille Soap is gentle, natural, and organic...yet powerful. My skin is very sensitive and this is one of the few products it can tolerate. It takes a while to get used to figuring out the dilution ratios. Don't give up! It removes all makeup and hair oil, rinses cleanly, and is not drying at all. This is the best multi-purpose product I have ever used. Upon doing research on the company (and after watching their documentary on Netflix), I concluded that they are definitely the most ethical company I know of. I will always support this wonderful product and company!

  • Maybelline New York SuperStay 24 Hour Concealer

Oh man, does this concealer last! I am on my third tube, so it must be doing something right if I keep re-purchasing it when I run out! To make it lasts longer, use this first, before any powder or foundation. It is a little drying, so it should only be used where needed and not in large areas. Do NOT use this under your eyes, it will emphasis any fine lines. But for covering blemishes, this is a must have. It stands up against rain, high humidity, sweat, etc.. And if you fall asleep in it (don't lie, you've fallen asleep in your makeup once or twice after a long night!), it's still there when you wake up!

  • Suave Naturals Daily Clarifying Shampoo
    10.0

    Suave Naturals Daily Clarifying Shampoo

This is my go-to weekly clarifying shampoo!

At only $1, I couldn't be any happier! This does really well with removing product buildup from my hair without leaving it feeling dry or like a brillo pad. My hair feels really light, fluffy, and clean after using this. Needless to say, be sure to use a conditioner after deep cleansing with this! I have tried many clarifying shampoos, cheap and expensive ones. Most of them left my hair feeling bad. Oh the joys of cheap, simple pleasures such as this Suave Clarifying Shampoo :)

  • Alberto VO5 Moisture Milks Conditioner

    Alberto VO5 Moisture Milks Conditioner

This works really well for a cheap conditioner!

Heck, it even works well compared to more expensive ones. This definitely has the best "slip" out of all conditioners I have ever tried. If you run it through your tangled hair, it will immediately detangle it. I have no idea how it works considering the fact that it doesn't even have silicone. The only thing that stops me from using this as my main conditioner is the artificial coloring and scent agents. But hey, at least it smells yummy! Seriously though, for about only $1, it doesn't hurt to keep a bottle of this around. if nothing else, you can use it to get tangles out before using your preferred conditioner. I need something slightly more emollient for my extremely dry hair. But overall, V05s conditioners leave my hair feeling so soft and healthy. I was honestly shocked at how well a very cheap, drug store brand product worked! Buy it next time you're at Walmart for $1! Oh, and people always compliment how good my hair smells after using this or the green tea one!

  • Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Moisture Balance Shampoo

This is a great shampoo that cleanses well without leaving your hair feeling dry. It rinses out easily and doesn't cause a problem with product buildup. I dye my hair roots once every few weeks and, as far as I can tell so far, it is safe for dyed hair. I'm a sucker for natural products, and even though this is not 100% natural, I love it. I will definitely purchase this again, especially at this price! Seriously, upper-end salon brands didn't work nearly as well for me. I use the Nature Fusion conditioner along with this shampoo. Both products are excellent and affordable. Give them a try! :)

  • Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Moisture Balance Conditioner
    9.0

Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Moisture Balance Conditioner

This is one of my favorite conditioners!

I usually prefer natural conditioners without silicone, but I made an exception after trying this one! It leaves my hair so soft and healthy looking. My thick, long, naturally dry hair is usually VERY picky about conditioners. I will definitely buy this again. It might be too emollient if you have thin, fine hair. But if you have an un-tameable mane like I do, don't hesitate to give this a try. The price is right and works better than much pricier salon brands I have tried. Be sure to wash your back with soap afterwards, because it will leave it feeling "slimy" for lack of a better word lol. This conditioner detangles really well and it has drastically changed the appearance of my semi-damaged hair.

  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
    10.0

    Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

This is the only eye primer and eye shadow I use

I live in the South where it reaches over 100 degrees and over 95% humidity in the summer, so I used to never wear eye shadow because it would either crease or melt off within 2 hours. But this is the only tinted primer that holds up (well enough) in this weather. Granted, it does crease towards the end of the day. But heck, it does well enough considering the circumstances! All of the shades give a nice, natural, shimmery glow to my eye lids. I wish it were a little cheaper, but one tube lasts forever!

  • Clinique High Lengths Mascara
    10.0

    Clinique High Lengths Mascara

    This is my favorite mascara!

I have naturally thick, long lashes. Before I found this mascara I really didn't bother with mascara that often because people assumed I was wearing some anyway. But after I tried this mascara at a Clinique counter, I immediately fell in love with it and bought it. My lashes looked even longer (whoa) and curled up like I used a lash crimper. Even a lady who worked for a different company complimented it and said "Now that's some good mascara, and I work for their competition" haha. This WILL flake into your eyes if you wear it overnight (not that you should be doing that anyway, but it happens sometimes). Oh, this also comes off easily with soap and water, yet it doesn't have a problem with smudging.

  • Paula's Choice Shine Stopper Matte Finish with Microsponge Technology

This is an EXCELLENT product to use if you have oily skin and don't wear makeup. It instantly gives a nice, matter finish. However, this does not work well with makeup at all. I've tried it under foundation, over foundation, mixed with foundation (and I've tried this with multiple brands). I probably won't buy this again because I wear makeup on almost a daily basis.

  • Paula's Choice Smooth Finish Conditioner
    7.0

    Paula's Choice Smooth Finish Conditioner

This is not nearly moistuzing enough

This would be a great conditioner for someone with thin, fine hair that doesn't require loads of emollient moisturizers. It's really light, fragrance free, gentle, and rinses out without leaving a residue. My hair is very thick, long, wavy, and course. I need much more moisture that what this conditioner can provide. My hair was still dry and tangled after using this. I don't have that problem with most conditioners. Sorry Paula, but a One-Size-Fits-All approach does not work with hair products.
