Burt's Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser

Smells great and cleans well

This cleanser is a 100% natural product and one of my favorite scented cleansers. Its citrus smell definitely wakes you up during the morning. Every morning after I used this, I felt awake and refreshed. The orange oils calmed my skin and it felt nice & smooth after washing. This is a great product without harsh and unnecessary chemicals that really cleans your skin.

Yes to Carrots C Through the Dry Spell Deliciously Rich Body Butter

One of the best body butters out there!

This is one of the best body butters or creams that I have tried. Especially now in the winter, my skin gets really dry but this one absorbs very well. My skin is almost instantly moisturized and very smooth after application. This large tub makes it easy to grab a handful and apply. I admit the smell was something I had to get used to but I like that it is natural.

Juice Beauty Antioxidant Serum

So-so

This serum was part of the Juice Beauty Organics To Go Kit that I bought and I have been using this under their nutrient moisturizer. It contains a lot of good ingredients but I have not seen any improvements this has made to my skin. It still looks and feels the same. The only thing is that my skin feels smooth afterwards and it has a nice light apple scent. So I am not sure of its benefits besides it has a lot of antioxidants. I would save my money and purchase something else from their line.

Clinique Different Lipstick

Classic lipstick

This type of lipstick was the first one I ever got and it has not been disappointing. They have good color and can last a while as long as you're not eating or drinking. The formulation is good so it's not too drying, but it could be a bit moisturizing if your lips are chapped. It's a good idea to just moisturize your lips first with a balm before application and then blot your lips. The different lipsticks have good nude colors and are available usually in their Bonus bags.

Juice Beauty Nutrient Moisturizer

Just average

This moisturizer is just alright for me. I have oily/combination skin and it did not feel greasy on my skin which is good. I did not feel like the moisturizer absorbed well in my skin as sometimes it felt like I had a white residue on my face. I will continue to finish using this but I will not be purchasing this again. A bit disappointed since I really like a lot of other Juice Beauty products.

Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist

Great scent

I like that Juice Beauty is using organic ingredients for this product. I am fan of the light apple scent so it smells great wherever I use it- face or body. I usually use this after cleansing since my face gets a bit tight afterwards and I follow this mist with their moisturizer. During the day I use this after blotting and it feels light and refreshing. I got this in their Organics to go kit so the size is travel friendly.

Mario Badescu Skin Care Healing Cream

Worked ok for me

I tried a generous sample of the drying cream and found the cream worked decently if you have occasional acne. It did not work for cystic acne though. I like that it is a nude color that blends well so it’s a good concealer and acne cream in one product.

Clinique Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel

Works for on the surface acne

This product works depending on the type of acne that you have. If you have the occasional whitehead or pimple, this gel may work to heal your acne. But if you have deep cystic acne caused by stress, hormones, etc. I do not recommend this product since this is made more for individual acne and not for patches. I did not like that it stings a lot so since I have really sensitive skin- it has 1% salicylic acid. The bottle is convenient to carry with you in your purse and it has a pointed tip so application is easy to use.

Pur Minerals Pressed Mineral Shadow

Feels silky!

What I like most about their eye shadow singles is that it feels very smooth and silky when applied. I also like that each shade has its own mirror and applicator on the bottom. They have a great assortment of colors to choose from that complement each other. I have tried two colors from their Holiday 2009 collection, Gold Dust- a coppery color, and Champagne Citrine. These shadows are easy to blend and contain just the right amount of sparkle. To reduce the amount of creasing, I would also recommend primer. Since these are minerals, you could also apply these shadows wet (with a bit of water) to intensify the color.

Mario Badescu Skin Care Mario Badescu Papaya Body Lotion

Smells great but has a sticky residue

This body lotion is one of the first Mario Badescu products I have ever used. It has a great fruity fragrance made from papaya extract that feels light on your skin. This product is great for dry skin. It contains Alpha Hydroxy acids to improve skin texture and shea butter to moisturize. My skin feels soft after using this but I do not like that this lotion leaves a sticky film or residue. The sticky feeling is the reason why I avoid using this lotion on my hands. It takes a while for the lotion to absorb completely into your skin.
