Here are all my reviews:
  • Gold Bond Ultimate Softening Lotion

Great drugstore lotion. I put this on immediately after showering. It's thick but absorbs quickly. Although there is absolutely no residue left on skin, 24 hours later when I next shower I can feel that this lotion is still on. The scent is gentle and inoffensive. Not an aromatherapeutic experience, but this lotion is no frills and effective.

  • CoverGirl Fresh Complexion Under-Eye Concealer

I had this for a while in high school. I think it was the first concealer I ever bought, which means it was also the first concealer I ever had settle into lines and dry patches under my eyes. I don't think I really had dark circles when I was 16, but this would not handle them. Formula is too sheer and, like I said, dries poorly on my eyes, creases everywhere. The cap busted on mine, cracked then fell apart, and that was the end of that.

  • Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin

I can French braid my own hair, yet I'm still terrible at making buns. These are so much easier for me to handle. They won't create perfect buns, just nice casual ones. I love that, since there's no hair tie involved, it doesn't pull so tightly that it gives you a headache or really any tension. But the hold is secure! I've worn only these on a four hour kayaking trip without problems. I also wore these on a run, mainly as an experiment. At the end of the run, the bun was lower on my head and not exactly pretty, but my hair was still pulled back. Buy some and play around. For the record, I have below my shoulders wavy hair with long layers.

  • Clinique Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent

Takes multiple tries just to get off MOST of my mascara, but I still wake up with gunk under my eyes. In the meantime, it makes my eyes sting. Cheaper products that work better: Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover, Pond's Cold Cream, plain olive oil...

  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover

Removes eye makeup thoroughly and is expensive and easy to find. I haven't had any trouble with sensitivity or irritating my eyes. Even removes waterproof mascara easily!

  • Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder

I have this in the Translucent shade. Every day I just wash, moisturize, then buff this all over my face. It evens out your tone and coloring (redness is what I'm mainly combatting) but isn't obvious on your face at all. It also helps control oil. When I actually bother with foundation, which is very rarely, this is great for setting. I have sensitive skin and have broken out from using mineral makeup in the past, but this has given me no problems. I have already repurchased!

    Suave Naturals Conditioner

    Mmm Tropical Coconut

This conditioner could be great, depending on your hair and use of it. My problem with the conditioner is not the amount of hydration you get (adequate) as much as its lack of detangling capabilities. If you are CG, this is a great cowash as it is 'cone free and inexpensive. As a conditioner, I would only recommend this for short hair that doesn't tangle easily. The Tropical Coconut scent is WONDERFUL.

  • Sunsilk Waves of Envy Sea Mist
    10.0

Sunsilk Waves of Envy Sea Mist

Let's me enjoy my natural waves

Why are all other sea salt sprays so incredibly overpriced? This spray was reasonably priced and easy to find. Most importantly, it really pumps up your waves. It delivers that beachy texture without looking messy. It looks very intentional. Just spray all over damp hair and let air dry for great waves. Sadly, I'm down to the last bit of my last bottle. Maybe one day Sunsilk will come to their senses and bring this product back.

  • Urban Decay XXX Shine Gloss

    Urban Decay XXX Shine Gloss

    I love "Guys Love Betsey"

Guys Love Betsey is a classic cherry red. If you want a bright, shiiiiiiny red lip, then you can lay this on pretty thick. It has great pigmentation for a gloss. I like to wear a thin layer of this color during the day as it gives my lips a healthy, gorgeous color. The cooling mint feel is especially nice. Be aware that this is a sticky gloss, particularly if you're using a heavy layer, but it's a small price to pay for how lasting it is.

  • Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque

My pores remain unchanged. It hasn't irritated my skin, which I appreciate. This mask has not tightened my pores, cleared my blackheads, dried out acne, or deterred oil production in a noticeable way. Queen Helene Mint Julep mask works at least ten times more effectively than this.
