Maybelline New York Expert Wear Blush

Love it, especially for a drugstore blush.

I have this in 'rose silk' which is a pinky peach color. It goes on smoothly, and the color is amazing. I don't look for much pigment in my blush, and this is averagly pigmented so I'm fine with the color. It looks pretty natural on, and it looks great on my skin. I love this so much. I'd definatly recomend it to a friend or a person just getting into makeup. The container is pretty flimsy, and I don't bother using the brush that came with it because it can make the blush look streaky if you apply it carelessly. IT'S A STEAL FOR THE PRICE!!

  • Maybelline New York ExpertWear Eye Shadow Singles

I have this in the shades 'Silver Lining' and 'Emerald.' I haven't tried emerald, which is turqouise, because it cracked and I know it will be a big mess when I open it. I have use silver lining, which is your basic sparkly silver, and I've noticed it is not pigmented at all. I just did a swatch on my hand and the color barely shows up at all. There is some sparkle left on the skin and the slightest hint of silver, but its not evident that there is shadow on it. The only good application I could get was with the sponge tip applicator, and I hate using those. The shadow could be rubbed away easily, meaning it will not hold up all day. If you want a light sparkle over a pigmented eyeshadow, you could use this. You could also wet the tip of the brush and put it over eyeliner to make the eyeliner sparkly. The container, as with most drugstore cosmetics, is cheapy and comes with a cheap sponge tip brush which you should probably toss if you want precise makeup application.

  • L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes

I'm not a big mascara fan, but I love this stuff. It can be time consuming, like some users said, but it doesn't HAVE TO BE PERFECT!! You can apply it quickly and still get good results. The tube is easy to use/hold, which I like alot. The white base lengthens, but you have to make sure you cover it completely, or you will look like you have mutent eye lashes-NOT good. This mascara makes my lashes miles long...twice the size of my normally lashes, which are already really, really long. It does form tubes on your eye lashes, so it can be pretty messy to clean up (it will leave some of the tubey things on your face...yuck.) I like this product alot.

  • Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep Conditioner

I swear by this product. It is AMAZING. The bottle fits right up in my shower with my shampoos and I put it on once a week when I'm in the shower. It has the most delicious smell I've ever experienced in hair products-it's kind of coconut-y, with a hint of alot of other stuff. YUM! It makes my hair smell great...Now enough about the smell-let's talk results, which is easy with this product...you get ALOT of them. It makes my hair soft, shiny, and everything else you could wish for in healthy hair. Whenever my hair needs a pick-me-up, I'll use this product. It feels great in my hair. You can't beat this product for the price...Don't be mislead, it's amazing.

  • Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication

I'm a teen. At the moment, I'm trying out ProActive, but when that is not in reach, I'll use this. I noticed that if I apply it twice a day, in two weeks (at least) my nose (my major acne area) has cleared up. It drys my skin out and irritates it, so I only apply it once a day, or apply it twice a day with a strong moisturizer. It's an over all good product. It would work pretty well if you didn't have acne/only had a small ammount of it and you wanted to prevent breakouts.

  • Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser

I love, love, love how this product feels. It's cool and tingleing and it feels great on my face (and also, the face was itself has a cool texture!!). When I need a random face wash, I reach for this! It does nothing for my acne though, that's the sad part. The name, 'Deep Action Cream Cleanser', is misleading because it doesn't really get that deep into your pores. I've heard that it makes some people break out though, so watch out. I haven't used it enough (like a couple days in a row) to notice skin irritation, but there's a version for sensitive skin if your skin is easily irritated. Star Breakdown: I gave it sooo many starts because of how it feels (:

  • Neutrogena Wave Original Vibrating Power-Cleanser

I love the concept of this product-it massages your skin. The device isn't cheapy or anything, it's pretty sturdy, but I found that it gets dirty and gross after many uses. Another downside is that you have to refill the expensive pads-not that budget friendly. I found that after the first use, my skin was soft and some of my acne (mainly black/whiteheads) had been cleared. It was a huge improvement. After a couple days, the potency wore off and I was left stranded in no-results land. It also irritated my sensitive skin. SO: If you're acne free and your skin isn't sensitive (all you want is a face wash that feels GREAT) then this product is perfect for you. If you have acne that you would like to have cleared up and your skin is sensitive, don't bother buying this product (unless you want IMMEDIATE results that will eventually stop coming.)

  • N.Y.C. New York Color Color Wheel Mosaic Pressed Powder

I have this in the Translucent Highlighting shade. I swirl my brush (usally a Kabuki brush, IDK why) around the wheel then tap in on the cheapy top to get some of the extra powder off. It works fairly well as a translucent powder and I've found that it absorbs oil fairly well. Sometimes I'll take an eyeliner brush and tap it into one of the shades, then apply it to my water line. It absorbs the extra water so when I put my eyeliner on, it stays put for much longer. Theres better products out there, but for the price you really can't beat it.

  • Ralph Lauren Ralph Wild Eau de Toilette Spray

I love this perfume...I have loved it since the day I smelled it at Sephora! It's a really pretty summer fragrance, but I wear it all winter...It helps make winter less depressing and cold. The bottle is SO cute...I love the shape of it and the cap is different than the caps on most perfumes. Back to the smell of it-it's kind of friuty and sweet and a little bit flowery, all mixed into one. It's really flirty and refreshing!

  • L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Concentrated Shadow Duos

I've got my L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duo sitting next to me and I just did a swatch on my hand...I have to say, looking at the swatch they do NOT live up to their name. The colors are a bit dull and they surely aren't highly pigmented, unless you PACK them on. The colors in my duo don't look that pretty together either-I can' imagine anybody ever wearing these two together? (My HiP shadow duo is called Forgiving...I wouldn't be too forgiving if I saw you wearing these colors in public-it's a dark blue-teal color and a dark brown color...) When you open up the top compartment, you find your two colors. Most of the color combos don't look as bad together as mine do, though. When you open up the hidden bottom compartment you find a little applicator and a mirror. When I did a swatch with the cheapy sponge applicator, the colors did in fact seem pigmented...Which leads me to believe that maybe if you had just the right brush these would in fact seem pigmented. I got my duo for around $7, which is pretty pricey for drugstore eye shadows. I don't know how the other HiP eye shadows, such as the Metallic Duo, work (judging from their reviews-pretty well), but save your money on this one.
