Burt's Bees Radiance Eye Cream with Royal Jelly

Buh bye, dark circles!

This eye cream is lovely. It comes in a tiny little jar and is easy to carry with me everywhere. It moisturizes like crazy and also does a tremendous job at getting rid of dark circles. I'm giving it an 8 because the solution seems to seperate over time. Maybe it's my dry climate, but I get annoyed at having to mix it so it's back at the right consistency.

mark On The Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner

NO!

I loved this eyeliner for about a month until I took it on a trip with me. When I got back, the formula had seperated into black flakes and clear liquid. It was impossible to apply and basically washed itself off when I tried to layer it. I won't be purchasing again.

Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color

Never been a mineral girl, but WOW!

I've tried mineral everthing. From foundations to eyeliner, i've always ended up disappointed...until now. This eyeshadow really is spectacular. It's got just the right amount of shimmer and blends amazingly well. Also, it's one of the most long wearing crease-free shadows i've ever tried.

Alberto VO5 Moisturizing Hot Oil

$2.00 at Big Lots!

I buy this for two dollars at Big Lots. It works wonders and is absolutely worth even the five dollars it usually is. I use before shampooing and blow dry on a light setting since the heat helps the moisture sink in. It doesn't weigh down hair and keeps it soft an manageable. Can't go wrong!

Aveeno Continuous Protection SPF 70 Sunblock Spray

A Must Have!

Yes, each of us have our SPF 30 Sunscreen for a picnic at the park or a nice hike, but that simply doesn't compare to the SPF 70 protection Aveeno offers. I can't leave for a beach vacation without this. It works nonstop and doesn't easily wash or rub off. Also, I love the easy sray applicaton.

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Nail Lacquer

Streaky and Runny

I used a beige color in this polish just last night. I had to apply 3 coats to get a fully pigmented nail without streaks. The polish didn't set well and took FOREVER to dry. After an hour of waiting I crawled in bed and still have dents on my toes from the sheets. Not at all impressed...

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Lip Liner

Perfect Pouty Pink

I have the VS Sheer lip liner in Pouty Pink. I've never had much luck with lip liners in the past. They are usually much too dark and I end up looking like a clown. Fortunately this liner is sheer enough to look natural and indeed gives me pinky pouty lips. I absolutely love it! It glides on so smoothly and doesn't wear off quickly.

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Luminous Mosaic Bronzer

Where's the Bronze?!

I am not at all impressed with this product. It has a chalky, powdery consistency and lacks any shimmer or sheen. My face looked pale and cakey after I applied. Definitely a no.

Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly Eau de Parfum

Not the Best from VS

Though I like the way this smells, the scent seems to fade rather quickly and I am constantly reapplying. Also when I compare this with other VS perfumes like "Very Sexy" and "Pink" I don't think this perfume lives up. While the fragrance is indeed sophisticated, it also is just a bit old lady.

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Silky Eyeshadow

Where'd the Color Go?!

I couldn't wait to try my brand new shadow in a lovely beachy golden color. I got home, put it on and...I could barely see it. I applied layer after layer only to find the consistency of this shadow is chalky and dry. It's best used with a wet brush in order to make some of the pigment stick.
