  • Mederma Skin Care for Scars Advanced Scar Gel

I got in a horrible motorcyle accident almost 2 months ago, in which I'm still recovering! I got 2nd degree burns on my inner thigh and calf. Each burn was literally the size of my hand, and I had 3 of them! Along with debilitaing bruises (still have them). As soon as my burns began to almost completely heal (3 weeks ago) I began using mederma but with SPF 30 along with pure vitamin E oil. I have used the product religously and my scars are literally half gone! I'm not sure if it was the vitamin E, keeping it covered and out of the sun, the healing powers of my body, or the mederma. Although I still have a long ways to go in my recovery process I will continue to use mederma. At over 20 dollars a bottle and I have been through almost 2 bottles already it beats embarrasment I would of had without it.

  • Dove White Beauty Bar
    10.0

    Dove White Beauty Bar

    Trusted name

I have always been a fan of bar soaps because of the economical side of things. Dove works well with my dry/ sensitive/tempermental skin. My skin does not handle fancy soaps very well. It even works well on the face. I love the clean fresh scent and it is universal because even my husband will shower with it.

  • Pantene Pro-V Relaxed & Natural Daily Oil Cream Moisturizer

This product is just okay. It's probally because it is alcohal based, which is why my hair isn't fully moisturized after using it. Better of just using regular conditioner.

  • Pantene Pro-V Relaxed & Natural Dry to Moisturized Conditioner

I used this product for almost a year when I was transitioning from relaxed to natural since I was dealing with 2 differant hair types. It kept my hair strong to withstand the transition before making the "big cut". I have not used any pantene products since I've been all natural just because all pantene products do not work well with my hair anymore.

  • Gillette Venus Divine Razor
    6.0

    Gillette Venus Divine Razor

    Good for some body parts

I do not enjoy shaving, and prefer to wax when financially possible. This razor is only good for some body parts. It works well for legs and armpits. It does deliever a close shave in those areas without having to go over the same area more than once. Although the design of this razor was not mean to those crevises and hard to reach places (ladies you know what I'm talking about).

  • Pantene Pro-V Relaxed & Natural Daily Oil Cream Moisturizer

I've tried a lot of leave-in conditioners to only find that they're alcohal based and left my hair crispy. I used to use this product in conjuction with the shampoo and conditioner for years. When I had relaxed hair it worked great for blow drying, as well as flat ironing. I was able to re-moisturize my hair inbetween washes and get the same effect. Now that I have natural locs I still always return back to this product because it still delievers that quality that a leave-in should give.

  • Pantene Pro-V Relaxed & Natural Dry to Moisturized Shampoo

Again, same product line I used to worship for years. This shampoo along with the conditioner worked great when I used to relax my hair. I switched to breakage defense line when I was transitioning (relaxed to natural). After I transitioned I went back to this shampoo and found that my hair didn't respond to the product as well as it used to. The shampoo alone seemed to leave my hair super greasy and if used the conditioner on top of it it all was WAY too much for my natural locks. I do recommend this product for those divas with relaxed hair, or kinky/course locks, because it is a cheap find. Although for us mult-racial chicks who only need moisture but nothing that's gonna weigh our hair down look for the JOICO line, or even WEN.

  • Pantene Pro-V Relaxed & Natural Dry to Moisturized Conditioner

I worshiped this line of product as a teenager and throughout my early 20's. I had relaxed hair, and honestly I over processed it with blow dryers, straightening irons, and curling irons. For relaxed hair it worked great, I got the moisture I needed with that extra continous moisture after showering. Then I began transitioning to natural, and my "real" hair did not except this product at all. It was too greasy and left my hair weighed down. If you don't know where to begin with shampoo and conditioners give this a try because it's cheap with a money back garantee (can't lose!) it's a good starting point so you get an idea what type of product you really need without blowing money.

  • St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

I used to use this product when I was a teenager but the one with sylicic acid in it. I used to swear by this "all natural" product. Even though it was WAY to harsh for my skin. After visiting my dermatologist she explained that using a wash cloth with gentle facial soap was just as good, maybe even better than all the expensive facial scrubs, and she's right!

  • Veet Sensitive Formula Hair Removal Lotion

I'm not a fan at all of shaving. Veet has a more non-offensive smell than Nair does. I removes all the hair promised, and leaves my legs hairless for days. I just don't like having to sit around waiting for it to do its thing. I don't recommend for underarms or your going to be left with some terrible chemical burn with no hair removed.
