I stepped into an Aveda Salon in Dec' 09 and left with this product after the stylist used it in my hair before blow drying my hair straight. Too bad I had absolutely no plans that night, as my hair had never looked so healthy and shiny! The big question was whether I'd be able to pull off the same results at home. I have long layered hair that hangs down to my elbows, so after showering I wrap my hair in a towel for about ten minutes while running around getting ready. I only use this product if I want extra glamour to my hair. After squeezing out excess water with my hands, I work a dime size (or two) of this through my hair starting on the ends of my hair (where they need the extra attention), and working further up - I never run any through my hair above chin level. If I have any flyaways or frizzies around my crown, I'll rub my fingertips through any problem spots AFTER I have used up about 98% of what I originally put on my hands for the ends of my hair. After blowing my hair out big and straight, my hair has a smoothed out shine like glass - and it's the only hair product I need to make it so! Regardless of amount used, it never looks or feels greasy, and the smell is a soft, plant-like scent. I gave this a 10 RATING because it smells great, works well and is concentrated enough to be worth the $22 it costs to bring one home.
