I've been using totalbeauty for their articles and reviews for quite some time now, and after reading an article about the prevalence of fake reviews I decided that I'd start writing my own. After writing about three reviews I noticed that so many reviews differed drastically and I think it's because of individuals' hair and skin type. While some people included that information with their review, others didn't. I think this site would be much more efficient if as part of the review process we'd have to choose our hair/skin type that would be shown along with a review, because it could be very misleading if, for example, someone with terribly dry, sensitive skin and minimal breakouts were to shoot down an acne product with 10% benzoyl peroxide in it. Anyway, I just figured that if this feature were added it would make for some more honest reviews. Otherwise, I think this is an awesome and helpful website.

I am new to writing product reviews. After I use a product I always give my hinest opinion. I do agree with what you suggest. It is a very good idea.

im new to this site and was wondering if anyone could help me out i just need to know how it works if it worked for you and some good ways toget points thanks
Agreed...sephora has a great system: each profile includes certain details about the reviewer like age, hair color, skin color, eye color and location (climate is important). These are pretty standard and none of them are required but they really help the person reading the review. I often include this type of information in my reviews but it would definitely help if everyone did.
