Care to share your experiences and knowledge of/with essential oils?

So far I've only used peppermint oil for migraines and energy along with lavender oil because I love how it smells, for stress relief and as a sleep aid.

I've done my own research but would like to know about anyone's personal experiences and/or knowledge of essential oils for better circulation specifically.  Has anyone used a blend or just a specific one for use with a  massager as that is something i'm looking into.   There is so much info out there but not a lot of comments from people sharing their own benefits or any issues they may have encountered.  Anything not related to circulation would also be appreciated.  I've read different takes on ingesting certain kinds, but I'm unable to do that because I have GERD, and some just are definetely not safe to ingest.

Thank you!

I love rosemary oil for my hair. I blend it with peppermint oil and a carrier oil to prevent breakage.

Coconut oil is great for pretty much anything, as long as it is organic, cold pressed, or virgin. I've tried almond oil in the past for my skin and loved it, along with grapeseed oil. I am currently using with avocado oil and I really like it, makes my skin so soft. I'm also experimenting with the oil cleansing method and I'm using a blend of castor oil and sunflower seed oil. I've done that a few times and my skin is still soft after wiping the oil off my face. Those are some of the oils that I've used so far. I've had good results.

Thanks, I haven't heard about Rosemary Oil for hair. I'll have to try it as I get split ends fast!

I've heard really good things about almond oil and have an order coming soon with that included. Thanks for your reply and explanation of how you use oils.

The most important tip I can pass along is to be careful of using essnetials directly on your skin without diluting first. I learned that the hard way. LOL Now not everyone may have issues but I tend to be sensitive and some can irritate sensitivity. My favorite essential oil is rose damascas (the pure one, not the blend...just FYI- its expensive!) as its so good for sensitive skins and also for aging skins. I like to add it to rose hip seed oil, as a carrier, and then add a bit of chamomileessential oil, evening primrose and argan oil. Most carrier oils, i.e. grapeseed, rose hip seed, jojoba, sweet almond, etc, can be used directly on the skin without issues but many essentials come with a warning to dilute. Clary Sage is a great essential oil- it is super hydrating but also works against acne so its great for skins that tend to breakout.
