I've been trying to find a way to make my hair wavy and came across this site (specifically this article). My hair is extremely thick and so the weight of it tends to make my hair straight.

My hair is due another haircut and I was thinking something along the lines of this:

(Including the beard style, my beard only grows in a goatee and I've had it for about 6 years now :p)

What kind of products would I need other than heat protection and hair spray? I noticed one of the comments in the article recommends Fructis Wonder Waves and blow drying on low with a diffuser. Would this work with as short hair as that? Or is Johnny just that gifted? :p

Any recommendations for heat protection and any other styling products I'd need would be perfect.
