i am a 29 year old dialysis patient with two special needs kids (daughter had a stroke, son has aspbergers), i work my butt off to take care of them, put them in front of myself sometimes. I've kinda let my looks go a bit, but I'm really trying to take care of myself, and get back into the whole pampering thing about myself!

Confidence  makes me fabulous.

I take great pride in my appearance regarding my face, hair, nails, and body.  I exercise, drink plenty of water, eat healthy, sometime organic, and get plenty of rest.  I am 49 years old and most people guess me at 30 something.  I spend alot of time doing these things and money on the products that I find work on my face, body, hair, and nails.

What makes me fabulous is that i have a big heart under my tough shell.

Is when I wash my hair and blowdry it into a sexy new hairstyle! 

My resilience makes me fabulous.  My ability to bounce back from whatever life throws at me.  It's a blessing for sure. 

I'm a great person inside & out.  I like my outside to reflect what's inside so I always look my best.

Discovering my strengths and femininities through my thyroid remission has made me realize just how fabulous I am. Not in the least conceited, I find that I have been able to shine with grace (and a lot of humor) to make it through my days of confusion, weight gain and the struggle to lose it, hair loss and the treatments to keep it. 

Fabulous is the woman that can over come anything and everything with a sense of style and class; a woman that can expect change and welcome it. The winner of this prize is surely an amazing woman who deserves the best. 

My quick sense of humor, confidence in myself, feeling good about how I look and feel, my independence and taking good care of myself. As such, I have wonderful people in my life and every day is another adventure
