I tried to edit a review I wrote on Hello Kitty's combination sets. I had the choice between "clear" and "edit" buttons. I just wanted to edit so I clicked that. But there's no way to save the edited version. No button that says post, done, save, etc. Nothing like that.
Also, I noticed it doesn't appear in my latest activity. When I see other members' profiles who have written reviews on something, it will say "so and so commented on Maybelline's Great Lash" for example.
7 RepliesThanks for your feedback on this issue. I will have someone look into this for you. Please stay tuned for an update.
UPDATE: Can you please let us know which browser (and which version) you are using? Thanks!
I know this will come as a shock to you (and anyone else reading this), so I hope you're sitting down, LOL, but I don't have my own computer. I access this site on different computers (including public ones), but I can tell you it's always Internet Explorer for the browser.
The version is usually an older one, like 7.0 I think? I believe 8 or 9 is the latest version. It's not a dial up connection, so it's usually fast enough.
Hi there. I heard back from our development team and it sounds like you're using a version of IE that our site does not support. Try using IE7 and higher, or a recent version of another browser to ensure the proper functionality.
Also, it can take up to a day for your activity to appear in your "recent activity" feed, so you may not see it right away.
Hope this helps, thanks!
Like I said, since these are not MY machines, I don't have control over what version they are using nor rights to upgrade anything, LOL! I do know that on this machine now, it is 7.0 of IE.
So, if I can't see something on my latest activity cause the browser isn't supporting it, does that mean others can see it? I know it's been at least 2 weeks since I wrote the review on Hello Kitty combo sets, not just days!
And what about editing my review? Can I not do that either cause of technology I can't control???
this might seem stupid but i am new to this site and i was wondering how do i do it to post a blog in regards of some dark spots i have on my legs and i would like to know how can i post that question on a blog so i can get advice from anyone on the site.thank you
Hi there-
I'm sorry you're still having difficulties. I'll have our dev team look into this further to see if there's anything they can do... but it sounds like it is a technology issue that is out of your control. I apologize!
Thanks for your patience with us!
