Hello, I use sunblock every morning and a low intensity retinoid/antioxidant cream at night. I'm 24 years old and I have combination skin, but it looks really good, I don't have scars, blemishes, or acne. Do I HAVE to wear moisturizer?
2 RepliesI'm not sure. I'm also 24 with skin that sounds the same as yours, but I always wear a moisturizer. I feel like I see everywhere to moisturize now to cut back on future damage. Is your sunblock moisturizing?? I use Aveeno Baby for face moisturizer and I find it helps foundation go on better, when I'm wearing it. Plus my foundation hassome SPF in it too.
Sorry I don't have any solid advice, but I hope that helps :)
Hey there-
You should definitely moisturize your skin especially if you are using a retinoid - it can dry out your skin in the long run. I would apply a light moisturizer first then apply sunscreen or get a moisturizer that includes SPF. Check out these articles on the best moisturizers and sunscreens for your face.
