I'm not sure. I'm also 24 with skin that sounds the same as yours, but I always wear a moisturizer. I feel like I see everywhere to moisturize now to cut back on future damage. Is your sunblock moisturizing?? I use Aveeno Baby for face moisturizer and I find it helps foundation go on better, when I'm wearing it. Plus my foundation hassome SPF in it too.

You should definitely moisturize your skin especially if you are using a retinoid - it can dry out your skin in the long run.
