93 RepliesBeing from New England with our harsh winters I always use a moisturizer with spf on my skin. Baby oil is my secret weapon, always put it on out of the shower for smooth and silky skin. Chapstick is also a must for smooth lips.
I make sure that I moisturize after everytime I wash my hands! They get so dried out in the winter!
I always put on coconut lip balm before I go to bed. It smells good and my lips never dry out and they are soft in the morning- even in Iowa weather.
i apply honey, cleans out my pores and moisurizes without being greasy
I always make sure to put moisturizer on after every shower! Also, I make sure to wear gloves whenever I go outside to prevent damage from the cold weather, and I keep my sunglasses close by! They aren't just for summertime.
Use a stridex pad and wipe the bottoms of your feet really good. Then put some Eucerin out of the jar on it. Rub it on nice and thick, then stick on socks and wear them overnight. Your skin will be amazingly soft the next day and you can say goodbye to dry winter feet! I do this once or twice a week all winter long for amazingly moisturized, soft feet!
Udder cream is the BESt and cheapest lotion to use on dry skin
If you have a humidifier in your house then plug it up. Humidifiers transfer moisture in the air, which helps prevent your skin from drying out.
i use moisturizer religiously on my face.i put on hand lotion constantly, if i dont my hands get eczema in the winter. i use aveeno unscented hand lotion, it is the best. i use vaseline on my lips at night. i have used baby oil gel right after the shower, but that can be a little too greasy, so it depends how dry i really am. i just switched to an organic shower gel because it doesn't have any of the sulfate family in it, which really irritates my skin.
I live in Hawaii so my skin is not dry and it is oily complexion. It still is. What I do is I wash my oily face, put moisture cream/serum and spray facial mist all over my face.
