I've seen a bit more about this brand recently and heard it compared to MAC, but I haven't had the opportunity to try it for myself. I was hoping for some expert input and feedback from the community. Anyone out there with some first-hand experience? Please be honest. ......and Happy New Year!

I used to purchase NYX eyeliners and eyeshadows from our local Value City store, but since the Value City stores have closed, I haven't purchased any more NYX products, unfortunately. When I was able to purchase them and use them, I found the eyeliners and eyeshadows to be very good -- nice colors and long-lasting. The eyeshadows were very pigmented and even come in matte shades (which are rare). You also get a lot of "bang for your buck" with the eyeshadows, too. The packaging is very nice-looking, too, and is very comparable to the higher end products out there. In general, I was very pleased with the products I tried and would purchase NYX again if I could purchase it locally!

I've got one NYX powder blush, in "Angel," and I love it. It's soft, pigmented, easily blended, and beautiful. It's the only NYX product I own, so I can't fairly compare it to MAC. I do think the blushes are an excellent value for the price, and well worth the effort of purchasing online. I'm planning on picking up a few more items for comparison purposes.

NYX Cosmetics have been around forever, and Im so glad they're finally getting more attention. Now as a makeup artist I would definitely suggest using their shadows, liners, glosses & lip sticks. They are super pigmented and have great staying power, they have a huge range of colors from matte, to satin finish and shimmers, plus theyre a fraction of the price of department store brands!
