1) Heat, light, and humidity are perfume's worst enemies. All of these will break down your perfume, alter the color, change the smell, and shorten their life. So keep your perfume out of the reach of direct sunlight (I know they look fabulous on your dresser, but the light will break it down), take them away from the heater, and don't store them in the bathroom where the moisture from showers will get to them.
2) Store the bottles upright. Minimize the chance of leaking and wasting the perfume.
3) Always cap the perfume, and if you can, keep them in the box. Both of these will preserve the perfume by keeping it from light, and stopping some of the evaporation. < Previous Post Next Post >
