Primer is the base step in having a flawless full face of makeup. This will reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores. It will also help your makeup last longer.

The main benefit of foundation for myself, is to even out my complexion. After the uneven color and redness is gone, I can choose a dewey or matte finish depending on the specific look. Having an even base also helps maximize the usage of any other products over top it (blush, contour, highlight, etc.)

Make those dark circles disappear! Personally, I apply concealer in a triangle shape under my eye, instead of the traditional "stripe" directly under the eye. The triangle-method provides greater, all around coverage. It's can be heavy for some, but that's what works for me. Use concealer to cover any blemishes as well.

Enhance your natural skin tone and give it a healthy glow. Applying blush contours the face and creates dimension. I generally use at least 2 blushes at a time, blending colors creates a more natural look, as nobody's cheeks are just one solid color. Make sure to blend well with a stippling brush to avoid an unblended mess and hard lines.

Bronzer is used for contouring, or a sun-kissed look if you choose to use it all over the face. The only time I apply bronzer on my entire face is if I'm super tan and my foundation is a tad on the light side, then I will use it to darken it up. Otherwise, I use it to contour my face by applying it in the hollows of my face which are my cheek bones, temples, top of forehead, sides of nose, and jawline.

Highlighting your skin will give you that natural glow. If applied correctly, people can't tell the difference if you're just naturally glowing or if it's makeup! It gives the appearance of dewey and radiant skin. This step also plays into the contouring effect. Apply highlighter on the cheekbone, brow bone, down middle of nose and cupids bow.
