Review Revlon Photoready Airbursh

I tried this product as soon as I saw it, Revlon has always made some really good products, for a drugstore that is. What shocked me is that there was finally an affordable airbrush foundation it seemed unreal. It was unreal. I tried this product the very next day using their perfecting primer, which worked really well, and then I proceeded to try the foundation. Airbrush foundation is a completely different formula than the average liquid foundation, powders, or even chubby sticks. Airbrush foundation is a watery substance that makes the coverage picture perfect. Hence, the name photoready. What also struck me was that this foundation did not have a small medal ball inside, used for shaking the product, as most all airbrush foundations have. So many things did not seem right, and then I tried it. The smell was incredibly gross, the application was odd, it came out like moose and I do not see how you could this foundation in an airbrush if you tried. The consistency was awkward, so many wrong things. I applied with a foundation brush of course. I then looked at my hand where I had sprayed err got the foundation out of the bottle, it was sparkly. I was about to throw a fit, drug store makeup don't seem to understand anything. I do not want my makeup to smell, and definitely do NOT want my 'natural' makeup looks to have sparkles, completely ruins the effect. So definitely will not buy this product again, and now I am completely in dire need to pursue to find an amazing foundation. Fingers crossed. Tell me what you thought if you have tried this product, do you agree, disagree, comment below!

Revlon products are cheap but okay for the price though.

I almost bought this foundation yesterday! I saw it on the shelf, but had already a little basket of goodies with a budget, so I didn't end up purchasing it. I'm so glad I didn't. Thanks for the heads up, because this was going to be my next foundation endeavor after I've run out of mine. I currently use Revlon's age defying foundation, which works fairly well. There isn't a terrible smell, it doesn't leave my skin shiny and it is a liquid that comes out through a pump. It get's the job done for me, but considering I'm always on the hunt for new things to try, I'll most likely opt for something different next time. I'd buy it again in the future however.

Thanks Nelly for the review. I was looking for a perfect foundation and was very much confused of which brand I should purchase. I will go for covergirl now. Thanks a lot :)

I absolutely agree! I did not care for this foundation at all either! All the complaints u listed were the same complaints I had. Plus it made my face shiny! I recently found an amazing foundation that I love and will repurchase! It's the covergirl outlast 3-1 foundation. It's so amazing to me, it makes my face look perfect and have even gotten compliments when I have it on. It gives a matte finish, it blends well, I easily found the right color for me, and it lasts soo long even through a hot day when I am sweating! Some people have problems with it oxidizing a lot but it didn't oxidize much on me. When I first apply it, it looks just a bit too light, but within a few mins its seems to darken just a little bit so that it looks perfect on me. Some suggest to go a shade lighter since it can oxidize. It gets great reviews though and thats why I got it and I also gave it a good review :)
