My Summer Favorites
Light Foundations: MAC Face and Body - Has a natural looking coverage and a very nice, even finish.Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer - This product is pretty similar to the MAC one but it doesn't have quite as nice of finish.
Fuller Coverage Foundation: Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick - This covers up any redness I have really well and doesn't feel too heavy on the skin.L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation - The coverage isn't as good as the Bobbi Brown but this is still a fantastic foundation
Concealer: MAC Pro Longwear - This is one of the only concealers in the market that does any sort of good towards my under eye circles. This stuff will cover up almost anything. L'Oreal True Match Crayon Correcteur - This is the creamiest concealer I have ever come across. It is one of the best out there, even comparing it to higher end. It is such an amazing product.
Powders: MAC Studio Careblend Pressed Powder - I have already had to buy another one of these I went through it so quickly! This powder is the perfect amount of extra coverage that you are looking for in a powder. It also keeps your skin oil-free for quite a while.Covergirl Clean Pressed powder - This was my go to powder before I discovered the MAC one, but I still use it from time to time. It smells amazing which is a great bonus.
Bronzer: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil - Being a paler girl, it is hard for me to find a bronzer that isn't too orange but the milk chocolate shade works perfectly for me. Plus it smells just like the color name.I strangely don't own any cheaper bronzers. It is probably because I use bronzer so rarely. When I discover a good, cheap one, I will write about it though.
Blush: This was probably one of the hardest decisions to make but my favorite high end blush is ... Nars Or*asm - This blush has a cult following though so it is no surprise I picked it in the end. Every aspect of this blush is fantastic. Totally worth the price.NYX Cream Blush - The color that works best on me is 02 Natural. I find this product similar to the Bobbie Brown Pot Rouge. Great pigmentation that lasts for a while. NYX has won my love with yet another product.
Eye Shadow: Naked 2 by Urban Decay - Yet another product with a cult following. All the colors are fantastic and have great pigmentation. My favorite has got to be Chopper.Revlon CustomEyes in Naturally Glamorous - This is somewhat similar to the naked palette. The shadow is pretty pigmented and are a good blend of neutrals. My favorite has got to be shade 1.
Eye Primer: I don't use eye primer that often, but when I do I always use Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion. This stuff is amazing. No primer on earth can compare. If you are looking for one, this stuff is worth the extra money.
Brow: For my brows I use a 2 products. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in transparent and Bobbi Brown eyeshadow in wheat. This is what I have always done since I started wearing makeup so they aren't really any other products I can mention.
Eyeliner: Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes in matte black - This stuff was made for the waterline. It will not go anywhere once you put it on. It is the only dark eyeliner I am willing to use on my waterline.NYX Super Skinny Marker - This eyeliner is as skinny as they advertise. It is perfect for creating that skinny cat wing look that is so in right now.
Mascara: Benefits They're Real - I swear by this mascara. It is the most fantastic product out in the cosmetic world for lashes. I have never seen mine look this good before this product came into my life.Maybelline Colossal Volume Express - Yet another mascara I swear by. I use this during the day so my lashes still look amazing but not as intense as the Benefit mascara.
Almost done, I swear.
Lipstick: MAC Amplified in chatterbox - This is a great, fun, pink color which I absolutely love. Perfect for the spring and summerVictorias Secret Color Drama Lipstick in Pulse - This color is a little bit more toned down than the MAC but still is a very fun lipstick shade to wear at this time of year.
Lipgloss: tarte PureOptic lipgloss in sheer vibrant pink - the shade name says it all. I wear this when I am looking for something a little bit more toned down, but still a poppin' pink. The BalmShelter Tinted Gloss in Daddy's Girl - This color has a little bit more red in it than the tarte so I wear this when I am going for more of a reddy-pink.
Lipstain: Becca Beach Tint in watermelon - One of my favorite products of all time. This color is fantastic. It stays on your lips forever too because it is a tint. tarte lip stain pencil in charmed - I have worn this almost every day since it arrived in my tarte cosmetics package. A great, glossy lip product, again perfect for the summer time. (This is very similar to the Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain if you are looking for a cheaper dupe.)
And that concludes my favorites! Thanks for reading. < Previous Post Next Post >
