Cute Valentine's Day Nails

With Valentines Day right around the corner I wanted to do a quick V-day inspired manicure. Now, I always do my own mani’s/pedi’s- I refuse to pay $25 for something that I can easily do myself. Plus, I really LOVE painting my nails!! For today’s look I wanted to do something soft and romantic, not too over the top.

Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Big Money

(Tip: you should always use a base coat and top coat to make your polish last longer)

I bought this beautiful lavender color a couple of weeks ago, and I must say that I’m pretty impressed with the formula so far. It went on a little streaky to begin with, but evened out nicely by the second coat. It lasted about 4 days before I started noticing some minor wear on the tips. “Big Money” is a pale gold glitter with little lavender specks in it. The two make a perfect Valentines Day inspired manicure.
