Subscriptions start at $21 per month including shipping. I reviewed the September GLOSSYBOX here. Here's a look inside the November GLOSSYBOX...
ILLAMASQUA LIP & EYE MEDIUM PENCIL in HonourFull size: $20.00 for 0.5 oz
GLOSSYBOX size: 0.5 oz ($20.00 value)
I've been dying to try something form Illamasqua, and was so excited to see a FULL-SIZED lip/eye/body pencil. Honour is a dark brown color. It's a little dark for my lips, but I love it as eyeliner. It lasted all day without smudging or fading. Very practical, and it really makes this month's box worthwhile! (Just a side note, some boxes contained an orange or a light blue pencil instead of brown.)
SKIN&CO. ROMA TRUFFLE SERUM – HYDRO-TONING DAY FACE SERUMFull size: $36.00 for 1.01 oz
GLOSSYBOX size: 0.50 oz ($19.00 value)
The texture of this is like a thin gel. It's clear and colorless, feels light and weightless, but didn't seem to do anything for my skin for better or worse. There is a very slight fragrance to it.
INCOCO NAIL POLISH APPLIQUÉSFull size: $8.00 for full manicure set (16 strips)
GLOSSYBOX size: full manicure set (16 strips) ($8.00 value)
I HATE nail stickers (the peel off kind), but I LOVE nail polish appliques (made with real nail polish and removed using acetone). The red pearl color (SINDERELLA) is perfect for the holidays, and I love the amount of shine these had to them. I had a little trouble applying them, and they seemed to flop around a lot, causing some wrinkles--maybe it was too warm inside my apartment? I'm pretty hard on my nails so there was slight tip wear after just two days. It lasted about a week before it was chipping pretty badly. For me, that's pretty good length of wear, considering how much abuse my hands take! The price is pretty on par with other nail polish appliques--because of that, I wouldn't use them for every manicure, but I'd definitely consider trying these again for special occasions!
NUME STYLE ARGANICS BY NUME ARGAN OILFull size: $59.00 for 4 oz
GLOSSYBOX size: 10 ml (0.34 oz) ($5.02 value)
A nice faintly scented Argan oil. It's light and doesn't weigh my hair down at all, but adds a nice amount of shine. As with most hair serums and oils, a little goes a long way, so this bottle will last awhile. I also used it on my hands (my cuticles have been super dry due to the winter weather) and it's helped. It does absorb more quickly than EVOO or coconut oil.
There's also a $100 voucher for hair extensions or a heat styling tool form NuMe. Their styling tools start at $115 and I don't need any heat tools or hair extensions at the moment.
KRYOLAN for GLOSSYBOX blush in Glossy RosewoodFull size: $9.00 for 2.5 g
GLOSSYBOX size: 2.5 g ($9.00 value)
My first KRYOLAN product was the Glossy Pink lipstick in the September GLOSSYBOX, which I just LOVE. I was excited to see another KRYOLAN product in this month's box. It's a cool matte pink blush, a similar shade as the lipstick in the September box. It's a nice basic, natural-looking blush. It has okay pigmentation and a smooth texture.
Overall, the three full sized products (Illamasqua pencil, KRYOLAN blush, and INCOCO nail strips) made the November GLOSSYBOX a good value. The other products were fun to try, but aren't things I need. GLOSSYBOX as a whole is a good product, and makes a good gift (I love that the packaging is actually nice enough to save and reuse too!)
