Tips on getting a good night's rest

Everyone knows that all the beauty efforts in the world are for naught if you look haggard and worn down because of tossing and turning all night. The following are a few tips that are tried and true in my home.
  • Take a hot shower before going to bed
  • Listen to calming, relaxing music such as Graham Ord's "Waiting" CD (acoustic)
  • Noisy roommates? Earplugs.
  • Roommates keeping the hall light on? Cover your eyes with an eye cover - they work!
  • Investigate all natural herbal solutions such as kava kava and chamomile tea - always always always study the side effects before you use any supplements
  • Don't forget to close the blinds or curtains so the sun doesn't wake you up earlier than you wanted.
