Product Review: Meaningful Beauty Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules
So a few weeks ago, I talked about how my mother in law gave me a Meaningful Beauty kit for Mother’s Day and how I was pleasantly surprised by the night cream. I’ve finally had a chance to try another product from the line as I filter them into my routine as I run out of products I normally use.
I started using the Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules. They are a soft gel type capsule with a tab at the top. You twist the tab off and squeeze and a cream-like serum squirts out. It’s a very concentrated yet light cream and when you see how little there is, you question if it will be enough. It is, trust me.
This product has been designed to increase collagen and hydration in the skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. On the Meaningful Beauty site, this product is under “revitalize”. The revitalizing products are created to rejuvenate your skin to create a more even skin tone with a more youthful complexion.
I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now and while I don’t have wrinkles, I did have some discolored spots that are very faded after 2 weeks of use. And I feel like my skin looks different, more radiant… I can’t put my finger on it but it’s a positive change.
The product doesn’t have any noticeable scent but it is rather expensive at around $40-45 a jar that will last 30 days. Due to the price and longevity, I’m not sure I would purchase this myself. I’d rather spend a bit more on a Vitamin C serum that will last a few months than buy 1 jar of something that will last a month. And while I noticed changes in my skin, I wasn’t blown away by them and they’re not changes I couldn’t find in a product I can go to a store and buy. I don’t like having to order product from sites that automatically enroll you in auto-shipping and Meaningful Beauty the site itself as well as QVC, where you can purchase it, both do that.
So my bottom line: Expensive but effective.< Previous Post Next Post >
