Current Morning Makeup Routine
I decided to post products of what I've been using lately when I put on my makeup for work. I try to keep it natural and don't usually get fancy with it unless I have an important meeting. I'll list the products, colors, and what I think of each one. When I have time, I'll post a picture of myself with the products mentioned.
Concealer: Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Medium = This is a new concealer that I'm trying out and, so far, I love it!!! It covers dark circles under my eyes very well. The packaging is unique. You twist to get the formula out of a rounded sponge.
Concealer: Revlon Photo Ready Concealer in Medium = This concealer is very blendable and it's great to hide redness, dark spots, and acne.
Foundation: Mark Powder Foundation in Buff = I have been using this product for many years. Does well for people with oily skin. You can build up on coverage by using a brush for a light layer, or for a more heavier application, use the sponge that comes with it.
Eyebrows: Cover Girl Browmakers in Soft Black = I don't follow the rule of using a shade lighter to fill in the brows. I've done that and it doesn't look good on me. Besides my eyebrow hairs are black. With a very light hand, the black pencil which is dry, works well to mimic my eyebrow hairs.
Eyeshadow: ELF 32-Palette in Warm = I like choices when it comes to eyeshadows and I love this neutral palette. I usually go for a medium brown on my eyelids and a vanilla shade on the browbone.
Eyeliner: Avon Liqui-glide Eyeliner in Black = My new favorite eyeliner!!! I wanted an eyeliner that was as dark as liquid liner that would stay on all day and not smear. This does it!!! One great feature that Avon needs to list under their description is the liner feels cool when you put it on. Love that feeling.
Mascara: L'Oreal Voluminous in Blackest Black = This gives my puny lashes a major boost with 2 coats. What I also like about this mascara is my lashes stay curled when I use it. Some mascaras seem too wet and my lashes automatically straighten out, but this formula is at the right consistency and "light enough" to keep them curled.
Blush: Mark Good Glowing Blush in Cameo Glo = This is the color of my cheeks when I am flushed, hahaha. My go-to blush that I wear everyday. The blush is a huge size and will last you a long time. The only thing is you need to buy a case to put the blush in, which Mark does carry.
Lipbalm and lip gloss: Chapstick Moisturizer (blue tube). My gloss always changes, from ELF to Beauty Rush to Revlon, and I normally go for natural pink shades. What I wore today, which happens to be in my purse, is C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint in Pink Mint. Love the minty flavor and feel. Nice sheer pink color. You only need to use a little bit because it's a shiny glossy formula, not sticky at all.
That's it for now. I'll think of something else to put on here.
I should get going. I'm at work writing this and I need to check on something, so bye for now!!!
