review- kiss beauty eyeliners
These eyeliners came in a 5 pack from Born Pretty Store. . Born Pretty Store is a website that sells a ton of beauty and nail products for a very cheap price. They are constantly swapping out their items so I don't see this on their site right now, but I am sure they will restock it. For only around $4 you get these 5 liquid liners.
The design on the cap is very cute... I think it is a peacock? It's gold with small little gems on it. I think it adds a cute touch, with out being too much to look at.
I also really like the overall packaging of these eyeliners. I like that they almost look like a lip gloss tube more than an eyeliner tube. I like that you can see the product inside of the tube, and the pretty colors!
I was a bit sceptic that these could actually be good products, since they are so cheap. Plus I had never heard of this brand, so I was not sure what to expect. Born Pretty Store is a Chinese based company, but these eyeliners are not made my Born Pretty Store- they are made by Kiss Beauty. It says Kiss is located in Paris France on the packaging, so I really had no clue what these would be like.
I actually really really like these eyeliners! The colors are all very cute and sparkly and man, do they stay ON. I swear, they are not going ANYWHERE. I put this on at 6 AM and it seriously lasted all day. I did give a bit of a refresher to it at around 4 PM just because my eyeshadow needed touching up and I figured I would redo my eyeliner, too. But it certainly did not need it, because it was still on as strong as it was when I put it on at 6. To get the wear to be this long, I put on primer and then my eyeshadow. Then I put this eyeliner on my upper lash line.
The colors do not have names, but they do have color numbers. My guess is that you get these five colors in this set, but they do make more colors. I think that because the colors are not numbered from one to five. They are numbered 5,4,3,9,2,1.
I always like products to have a good name with them, I find that makes them even more appealing. But it isn't the hugest deal ever for these to not have names... I mean, It's the inside of the product that counts, right?
The brushes on these are really skinny and I have not noticed any loose brush "hairs" at all. They don't shed, and again, I haven't noticed any of the hairs coming out at all.
The wand of the brush is super super sturdy, and not wobbly at all. When I hold it in my hand, it feels sturdy and not cheap at all. It definitely has some weight to it, it isn't like the most cheap plastic in the world. Lol.
The swatches are all on completely bare skin, no type of eyeshadow or primer underneath at all. I choose this swatch picture to show you, since you can really see the beautiful sparkle.
FINAL VERDICT- I really really love these eyeliners! I can't think of a single real problem with them at all. I wish they had color names, but that isn't a real problem. They last all day on my upper lash line, the colors are unique, and the wand and brush is nice and sturdy. Plus, the price?! It's super super cheap, I recommend being on the lookout for when these come back in stock at Born Pretty Store.
*I did receive these for free from Born Pretty Store for a review. I am not being paid in any way for this review, these are all completely my opinions, no links are affiliate links, and I am in no way getting money off of this post.
