review- Cococare 100% Coco Butter Stick
I saw this when I was in CVS a few days ago, and I thought that I should give it a go! I've always been a big fan of cocoa butter, and I used to always use the Palmers one. I like Palmers okay, but I didn't like that it had Vitamin E in it. Cocoa butter is moisturizing as is, it doesn't need the vitamin e. Plus, when I used it as a hair mask, the vitamin e would seperate from the cocoa butter and it would leave my curls crunchy. I looked for a cocoa butter stick everywhere, but ALL had vitamin e in them. So, I was really lucky to find this.
At CVS, these sticks were only $1.49 and MAN do you get a lot of product! That stick is PACKED with cocoa butter- I LOVE it. When I brought my things up to the register, the lady there said she loved the stick as well, and she used it for her skin. Then, I realized just how glowing her skin was! It was like she used a highligh all over her face, and then blended it to perfection! But, no....it was just cocoa butter!
The texture is rather hard, but when you put it on your skin or lips it softens and feels really moisturizing- not drying to the slightest. The main purpose that I use this for is for the lips, and I am relatively surprised that every single time I need a lip balm- I reach for this instead. I've been toting it around with me, and whenever my lips get dry in the slightest- I wip this out and coat my lips in moisture. It lasts realy long on my lips, and even after drinking/eating it lasted for an hour or two.
As you can see, the single ingrediant is cocoa butter!
