Want to do Highlights on your hair? Read this First!

Ok, so we ladies all get tierd of our natural hair color, we always look forward to something new and diferent. We always see celebrities change their hair color like if they were changing their outfit. Like Lady Gaga from below.

Just because you see all these famous people changing their hair color doesn´t mean you should risk yours. Highlighting or Bleaching (however you name it) is the principal thing that sucks the life and softness out of your hair, it gets your hair really dry and almost IMPOSIBLE to repair.

Hard to repair Hair

So here are some easy solutions to get what you want with your hair and not damage it:

  1. Use Clip-on streak extensions! They are easy to apply, easy to find  and doesn´t looks cheap! Take Avril Lavigne for example!

     2. Use a washable hair dye (Recommended for blonds) (that would wash off in a couple of weeks, not permanent) If your a blond and your going for any color that is black, pink, purple, etc. it will be visible, I don´´t recomended this for brunettes since it won´t be visible on dark hair in that case you would have to bleach theparts you want to color. Like Joss Stone from below

    3. Washable Hair Streaks, I don´t recommend this because it´s a cream with the color you´d like and you put it on a streak of hair, I´ve tryed this it looks cheap, doesn´t look real and I could even touch it because it would color my hands. Also if you wear this too often you have too wash your hair everytime. It comes off when you wet or wash your hair. This is more for kids then for adults.

    4. The last method, is better but would be more costy, wearing a wig. Celebrities do it, why can´t you? buy a 100% human hair wig with streaks and that will do the trick! Problem is it´s not natural and you have a 75% chance that an accident can happen (the wig would come off). Nicki Minaj Below

Exactly, I´d prefer to put wigs and extensions on then try to damage my hair, But as I said before: I always like to keep it natural, after all thats what Natural Beauty is all about!

Don't forget, a lot of famous people and models are wearing wigs and not coloring their hair.  Lady GaGa is a good example of a wig wearer. Carole VonAllten

I am donating my hair to a friend who is going a bit gray at an early age.  I know she wants it to have it made into a hair piece.  Originally, I had always wanted to donate to an organization for people with cancer who lost their hair.  Well, even though she did not experience this, she did suffer from a condition  with a cancer health problem.  Since I don't color treat it,  and have started to deep condition, and am older now,  the experimentation of these styles may not be for me.   I do wonder, how some of these people who change their hair color from dark to really blonde, manage to maintain a good looking head of hair.

I am letting a bad haircut grow out, and I bought 3 different wigs from Wig.com.  I never have a bad hair day!  The wigs I bought are "Style by Jaclyn Smith," and I got them on sale for $49 + shipping ($5-$6) each.  Sometimes I put narrow clip on color hair extensions on the wigs.  I have recently started with feather clip ons. Good advice. I've tried the cream color too, and it just looks bad. (Only acceptable when you're in HS or college, at the BIG GAME... and a little iffy even then!).
