Smoldering summer heat, misleading beauty advice...
Hmmmm.... a certain magazine that I enjoy reading...*won't name it* says in order to stay cool this summer here's what you do ummm, list. While I had heard some of these things before many of them were common sense-- while some, well some stood out for their uniqueness. One in particular stood out from the rest because it said and I am paraphrasing. To use hot chili peppers to cool yourself down, eat it during the summer months to cool yourself down internally. I did my research and found a few physicians backing this claim, I gave it a try. What the magazine fails to mention is that while chili peppers are a natural source of Capsaicin (look the word up). It only works if constantly activated by drinking water, like constantly. After trying this cool down method, the ummm wrong way --obviously after, I began feeling weird. I was tired sick and nauseated. Only because I didn't realize how much water I had to drink. While I like the idea, and if done correctly the results. I don't like the way they "briefly explained the method" it should have been more professionally detailed and thorough. Just sayin'.
