Two Unsung Heros
There are two shadows that I want to talk about in this post.
1. The E.L.F Essentials Liquid Eyeshadow
2. The E.L.F Essentials Cream Eyeshadow
The Liquid Shadow is definitely an unsung hero because everyone that uses the product uses it wrong; they try to apply it with a heavy hand and don't blend it out with a finger or a brush. This shadow is the perfect base for any shadow if you blend it out right. It is very important not to overuse or over-apply the shadow because it can be a bit grainy in large amounts. Also, this is not a cream. I repeat, this is NOT a cream. It dries to a powder finish. So, if you are on the go this is perfect to wear alone. My two favorite shades are the Satin shade and the Cream shade.
The E.L.F Cream Shadow is not to be confused with the liquid shadow. Many people complain about this shadow creasing and clumping. Again, this is because there aren't using a light enough hand while applying it. A little of this product goes a long way and is most easily applied with a warm finger. This shadow must be worn over a primer and must be accompanied by a top powder layer to prevent creasing. These shadows are the perfect base! I love this product. I use my Sugar Cookie palette and my Coffee and Cream palette almost everyday as highlight shades for my inner corner.< Previous Post Next Post >
