Beauty treatments using baking soda

There are various uses for baking soda such as cleaning, laundry, deodorizing, and beauty treatments. It’s amazing how baking soda is such a diverse and inexpensive product. Baking soda is a great beauty on a budget item and here are a few DYI baking soda beauty treatments and tips; 1. Face- Instead of buying facial scrub to exfoliate, use 3 part baking soda and 1 part water and apply to skin in a circular motion avoiding the eye area. 2. Body- to exfoliate use 3 part baking soda and 1 part water and apply paste to body in a circular motion using your hand or a loofah. *You can add to 2 tablespoons of baking soda to your body wash as a bonus. 3. Hair- Ditch the clarifying shampoo and mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda to your favorite shampoo. This is a good way to remove product build up without stripping the hair of its natural oils. * Also use the baking soda and shampoo cocktail to remove chlorine from hair after a day at the pool. 4. Bath- unwind from a long day with a tub full of really warm water and ½ cup of baking soda, this will make for a soothing soak. 5. Mani/Pedi – soak hands and feet in 3 part baking soda and 1 part water in a bowl of warm water. If you find this article helpful subscribe to this blog via email or follow via GFC.
