Soap and Glory Bright Here Bright Now
Soap and Glory, this is the first time I have used these products, I have always been turned off by the packaging and the whole (old fashioned sort of concept), but wow this is awesome. As you know I’m always into finding the illuminating, glowy products, and this does just that with some other benefits I quite like (instant firming!).
So Bright here, bright now, what is it, well it’s a balm an (energy balm) they state with moisturising apricot kernel oil, Aloe Vera and the immediate face firming complex (INSTANTIGHT™ 2), this I can tell you now is just the ingredients (oat and baking soda) as it has a slight corset effect on the skin and provides firming I would not say it’s an effect that will increase with long term use.
So ingredients are quite nice, the usual bad parabens though, but other than that ingredients like, apricot, mica, silica (good for slight oil control), Oat, aloe vera, menthol, sodium hyaluronate (also known as Sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid, amazing moisturising holds a lot of water to the skin), tocopherol (vitamin e) and baking soda!!!! (No doubt part of the firming complex).
So this product claims to have a fragrance of mentango (menthol and tango orange), however I can feel it but can’t smell it so I’m ok with this.
Product has a shelf life of 24 months from opening nice and long however this is down to the parabens.
So soap and glory may have well just found a convert, love this orangey coloured, medium density balm, wakes my skin up after thorough cleansing and the price is not bad I was able to get mine on offer at boots, so even better, I purchased another few products by them that I’m reviewing for a later date so do stay tuned and look out for them.
www.boots.com save a third so I paid £6.81 from the normal retail of £10.21.
