Which Primer ?
Hello Girlies,
I am going to be purchasing a higher end primer soon becuse i cant find a good one from the drugstore. I dont want to spend a lot of money because i dont really wear eyeshadow that often so when i do i want it to stay on.
I am debating between urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I was watching youtube and amarixe said that painterly paint pot was a really good primer too so now i am considering that too. I dont think i really want urban decay purly because of the packaging.
so what do you use? please coment below and help me out because i dont know which to choose !

Too faced primer hands down...for eyeshadow only. But for a generic and amazing face primer which will make your skin look amazing: Laura Mercier Radiance Face Primer. Amazing.

I use M. Asam's Perfect Teint as a makeup and eyeshadow primer. It works great under regular makeup if you need more coverage, and it helps eyeshadows last longer without irritation. You can buy this product from HSN.

I like the Bare Escentuals primer. I love their whole line, I've never had any bad issues with their products.

ok lets clear thing up here. I tried the $1 elf primer and dont really likt it it creased on me. I do really want to try th mineral primer and the liner sealer and primer. Different things do work for different people i was just looking for some good suggestions hope this cleared thing up

Aly 7 - that wasn't my reply - drugstore_ladywas replying to me about why she didn't like the elf primer either.. TheBlond - the Bare Escentuals primer sounds like something that is worth trying and my be cheaper - I'm going ot give that a try. Thanks for that recommendation.

bhfreebh, different things work for different people. i personally love the elf eye primer/liner sealer. drugstore lady, for a face primer- Try tarte recreate. another more expensive,good eye primer is smashbox photo finish lid primer:)

bhfreebh i didnt like the elf primer because it creased on me. I applied it before i went to school and when i got home it was almost gone. I have better primers so i will just use those.

I use Urbay Decay‘s Primer Potion, which I do love....definitely lasts all day. However every once in awhile, if I also add a white base shadow/cream on top of the primer before the eyeshadow, to make the colors pop, it seems to make the eyeshadow look caked on, and not easily blendable. I've read nothing but good things about Too Faced Shadow insurance, so that'll be my next buy.
