Review: Garnier Skin Naturals Eye Makeup Remover and Cleansing Cloths

Normally I only review one item at a time, but I bought these together and usually use them together so I figured it would only be fitting to review them together. They, being Garnier's Skin Naturals Fresh Grape Water Eye Makeup Remover and Vitamin-enriched Cleansing Cloths. These are only two of the five products in Skin Naturals range, others include a cleansing gel, a toner, and a moisturizer.
Up first, we have Fresh Eye Makeup Remover Solution.
"Handle with care" is the watchword when it comes to the delicate skin around the eye. Fresh Eye Makeup Remover Solution with grape water efficiently removes makeup and soothes tender skin. Its ophthalmologist-tested, non-irritating formula has the same pH balance as tears, so it’s ideal for contact-lens wearers or sensitive eyes. It's non oily, so you can use as much or as little as you need!" -from website
Sounds good, but they forgot to mention that it also claims to remove waterproof make-up which was my main deciding factor in buying it in the first place (yeah, it was on sale too... added bonus) but it doesn't remove waterproof mascara. This remover is great with everything else, even waterproof eyeliner, but it flat out doesn't work on waterproof mascara. I don't wear it all the time, but when I do I would like to have something on hand to remove it. I have tried to remove a few different brands and always end up needing something else to get the job done. I have to wonder why companies label eye makeup removers capable of removing waterproof formulas when they clearly can't. Did the think no one would notice? If you don't need this to remove waterproof mascara I definitely recommend it, it is gentle and effective and requires no rubbing or tugging.
Onto the Vitamin-enriched Cleansing Cloths
"The gentle yet efficient way to remove makeup, even long-lasting eyeshadow and lipstick, leaving skin feeling clean and replenished. Easy to use, with ultra-preserved, 100% pure grape and apple extracts, rich in oligoelements and mineral salts, carefully selected and extracted using Garnier’s innovative Flash Distillation process. Clean skin made easy." -from website
The actual cloth
While I don't use cleansing cloths as the only part of my skin care routine, I do use them to remove my makeup before cleansing. How can your cleanser cleanse if it is too busy trying to get through a layer of makeup before it gets to your skin? These clothes are pretty average in size and are a smooth texture. I find that these cloths work quite well and are moist enough to feel like I have removed all the makeup from my face with one cloth. Some cloths just don't feel like they are moist enough to do anything, but these have a damp feel. I like that these cloths are not overly scented, they just have a natural clean smell. While I always use a cleanser after these, and the solution never sits on my face, I have had no breakouts or issues.
Overall I recommend both products, just don't rely on the eye makeup remover to remove your waterproof mascara. Have you tried either of these products? What did you think? Can you suggest a good eye makeup remover for waterproof mascara?
