Spa Facial Hydrating Mask by Lisa Hoffman

Lisa Hoffman, creator of the Spa Facial Hydrating Mask, says on her website that she believes products should be as simple as possible while still providing results. This approach sounds like a welcome change in today’s world. Since the Spa Facial mask would be my first product from Lisa Hoffman, I guess I was about to find out if simplicity could actually add to a products value. This facial mask contains Vitamin A, Vitamin C, ceramides, and marine collagen which work to maximize skin's production of collagen. With continued use this mask will product skin that glows with moisture and regains a youthful tone and texture. As a woman in her twenties, my focus is on retaining my youthful appearance than retaining it. This led me to wonder if this product was even suited for a person with my particular skin issues, which also included combination skin. Like most cash-conscious college students, I expect a large return on my investment when I buy a product. It was clear from the start this mask would have to be something special to make me a believer…a.k.a. a consumer.

The first thing I noticed was that the texture of the mask. It presented a nice balance between not being too heavy for easy application, while still being thick enough to prevent smearing or sliding into your hair. This mask felt surprisingly nice on my skin, almost as though my face was soaking up its ingredients. Perhaps after years of being exfoliated and chemically clarified, my face was actually in need of some loving hydration. After the first use, my skin was noticeably softer and brighter. These benefits increased with each use, as well a noticeable reduction in the shadows around my eyes. One draw-back to this product, however, is that it did little for my clogged pores or to treat my oily areas. My suggestion is to use this as part of a complete skin care routine, which should include something to clarify your skin and refine your pores. Please don’t make the same mistake I had been by underestimating the value a product like the Spa Facial Moisturizing Mask can have for the quality of your skin!

Thanks so much for the great review. I have been pampering my skin since my early twenties as well and now that I am in my late 20s I do enzyme peels and weekly masks in addition to my every day regimen.   I think you're never too young to take good care of your skin.
