Colbert MD, Nourish Eye Cream
I've just entered the holy world of eye cream. Call me stupid, kick me, or something, because I've always believed that eye cream was for people with crows feet. My mama always said, "never leave the house without sunglasses, or you'll wrinkle up as you squint in the sun."
Mama was correct. You do get wrinkles when your face contorts in odd ways throughout the years, but she was never an eye cream user. I grew up in a working class home, where moms reached for their tried, and true Pond's Cold Cream, but I grew up in a world filled with beauty magazines that were pushing cosmetics on us by the tender age of 13 years old. So how'd I miss the message about eye cream, anyway?
My friend expressed concerns about the dark circles under her eyes, exclaiming "Guess I'll have to buy great eye creams now!" After asking a few questions I'd realized that I had duped myself. "I've got dark circles! I'm getting older, too!" With that I ran into the world of eye creams.
I started on the beauty floor of Barneys. They dabbed on some eye cream. Colbert MD's Nourish Eye Cream. "Use your ring finger, and dab," they said. Guess what? I bought in, and have been dabbing my way to fresh, young eyes since! It does take the dark circles away! Who knew? Oh, all of you, yeah... I get that now! Another thing is that it seems to plump the area up a little bit. It looked strange to see the diminishing effect. I am so happy though! So happy that I blogged about it here.
