It must be good if the husband notices!
Going out to my local drugstore, I browsed through the styling products. Having thick, coarse, curly hair has it's challanges. I've tried gels, creams, mousses, sprays, pomades and everything else under the sun (that I can reasonably afford). Usually the products leave my hair hard, dry or frizzy. My latest purchase was e-sen-cia by samy. I've read the product reviews for samy products and it they aren't very good. My experience with the one product I did purchase has been overall good. I purchased the Styling Mousee with pomegranate and bottle read 99.1% natural. Reading the ingredients it did read more like a receipe than other styling products I've used.
One of the differences with this product is that you "pump" the mousse out rather than the traditional mousses that you shake and press on cap. It didn't have the same consistancy as other similar products, it was much lighter and thinner than others. The scent was pleasant and it didn't leave a sticky residue on my hands after applying it. To my surprise, my hair kept it's natural curl and didn't feet hard or dried out. I had some frizz left but not as much as other products I have used in the past. I must say, I am pleased with the outcome and when the husband compliments me on my hair, it's a good feeling that something is working. My $4 investment was worth it.
